EPW - Vacheron & Constantin, Genève, dial and mvt marked for retailer Edwards & Le Bron Chattanooga, 44mm, 14K OF original case with gold cuvette, case marked only "E E R" above 14K marking, rear with initials, SW-SS, WE-SSD, lever escapement, 17J, fausses-côtes NI damascene, s#264817. Gross weight of assembled watch 39.5 dwt (61.3 g).
CONDITION:
Mvt: GRO, fine plus mvt condition overall, crown wheel bridge has been lightly polished diminishing its finish, typical scattered MFS elsewhere; dial very near perfect with only a tiny nick to upper rim of seconds-register; fine to excellent hands; case shows very light wear, MFS and some FS, small scrape at band/bezel seam at 2, shallow small dent to upper rear above initials, ding at band/bezel seam at 10; tight bow, replacement crown shows medium wear; good glass crystal.
